Vice President, Capital Formation – Venture Capital Markets

B Capital is looking for a Vice President/Director of Capital Formation to join their team in San Francisco. This role involves building relationships with investors and managing the fundraising process for their funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital raising and a passion for technology investments.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with strategic investors to raise capital.
• Manage the full fundraising cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare and customize fundraising materials.
• Track and maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities.
• Represent the firm at meetings and industry events.

What You Need

• 6-10 years of experience in capital raising.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, or private credit.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for institutional audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors.
• BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred.
• Experience in technology investing is a plus.
