VP, Fund Finance

Blackstone is looking for a Vice President to join their EMEA Fund Finance team in London. This role involves overseeing fund accounting and administration for European funds, providing technical accounting leadership, and managing a team. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders and deliver insightful financial analysis to support decision-making at the senior management level.

What You’ll Do

• Be the go-to person for various internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee fund accounting and administration activities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions.
• Manage and mentor your team, ensuring effective workload distribution.
• Collaborate with global finance and partner functions to improve processes.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting for senior management.
• Coordinate audit and tax activities, maintaining strong relationships with advisors.

What You Need

• Must be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with over 7 years of experience.
• Experience in Private Equity/Credit funds or asset management is a big plus.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting, especially IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Great at building relationships and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
