Vice President, Global Allocations

Ares Management is looking for a Vice President to join their Global Allocations Team in New York. This role is crucial for developing and overseeing the firm’s investment allocation framework. You’ll work closely with various teams to optimize capital allocation and ensure compliance with fund mandates. What You’ll Do

• Lead key components of the Global Allocations initiative
• Oversee investment allocations across various strategies
• Advise senior stakeholders on allocation decisions
• Conduct pre-trade allocation and compliance analysis
• Identify risks and optimization opportunities in portfolios
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth execution of allocation decisions

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience in investing or portfolio management
• Strong familiarity with credit and alternative investment structures
• Experience with alternative credit transactions
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
