Vice President, Holdings – Venture Investing

NewSpring Capital is looking for a Holdings Vice President to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and negotiating investment opportunities while managing a team of investment professionals. You’ll work closely with top operators to ensure successful outcomes and engage in strategic planning for the firm’s Holdings Strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Source and negotiate new investment opportunities.
• Lead deal origination and execution processes.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and create investment models.
• Work closely with management teams of portfolio companies.
• Conduct market research and assess competitive landscapes.
• Mentor and lead a team of investment professionals.
• Assist with fundraising and investor relations.
• Participate in strategic planning for the Holdings Strategy.

What You Need

• 6-8 years of experience in private equity.
• Strong analytical skills and experience leading transactions.
• Expertise in financial modeling and company valuation.
• Great team player who enjoys mentoring others.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic performance.
• Ties to the Philadelphia area are a plus.
