Vice President, Investing Strategy

Galaxy Capital is looking for a Vice President to join their team in New York City. In this role, you’ll take charge of deals from start to finish, ensuring successful execution and strategy. You’ll work closely with sponsors and lenders, leading negotiations and managing transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial real estate finance who is ready to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

• Manage transactions from start to finish across different asset types.
• Lead underwriting and develop deal strategies.
• Negotiate with lenders and manage outreach.
• Be the main contact for sponsors and lenders throughout the deal process.
• Delegate tasks to Analysts and Associates and provide feedback.
• Train and develop junior team members.
• Identify risks and manage issues proactively.

What You Need

• 6–8+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Proven ability to independently execute and close CRE debt transactions.
• Familiarity with various deal types like refinance, acquisition, construction, and bridge loans.
• Strong underwriting and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism and credibility with sponsors and lenders.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
