Vice President, Investment Operations

Blackstone is looking for a Vice President to join their Investment Operations team. This role involves leading finance and operations, ensuring smooth execution of investment processes, and collaborating with various internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private equity and a strong understanding of investment operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the finance and operations team, managing daily activities and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth investment closing and reporting processes.
• Collaborate to maintain accurate investment data and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze portfolio company performance to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and review regulatory filings and periodic reports.
• Manage relationships with key vendors for high service quality.
• Identify and monitor operational risks within the portfolio.
• Mentor junior staff and promote a high-performance work environment.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field (CPA is a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting or operations.
• Strong understanding of private equity secondaries market and investment structures.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Results-driven and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with markets, securities, and relevant regulations.
