Vice President, Investments – Ki Tua

Fonterra is looking for a Vice President of Investments for their Ki Tua Fund in San Francisco. This role involves managing investment activities and portfolios, working closely with the Chief Investment Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital or private equity and a passion for innovation in the food and agriculture sectors.

What You’ll Do

• Help manage the Ki Tua Fund’s investment activities and portfolio.
• Work with the Chief Investment Officer to align investment plans with the fund’s mission.
• Build and manage a strong investment pipeline.
• Oversee portfolio performance and support company growth.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

What You Need

• 6-10 years of experience in venture capital or private equity.
• Strong background in deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management.
• Proven track record in investment judgment and board involvement.
• Analytical skills and clear communication abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Interest or experience in food, agriculture, or deep tech sectors.
• Ability to work in a global, multicultural team.
