Ares Management is looking for a VP/Principal to join their Ares Insurance Solutions Strategy Group. This role involves working on strategic initiatives, managing investments, and supporting business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investment, with a focus on asset management or insurance. What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed financial and market analysis for investment decisions
• Develop complex financial models in Excel
• Screen new investment opportunities and prepare investment committee memos
• Analyze investment performance and maintain financial models
• Lead investment closings and due diligence
• Drive strategic projects for business development initiatives

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
• 6+ years of relevant investment banking, consulting, or principal investing experience
• Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness
• Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and multitask
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Creative problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
