Vice President, Product Management

StepStone Group is looking for a Vice President of Product Management to join their team in La Jolla, CA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing new products and enhancing technology solutions. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that the products meet the needs of the market. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in private markets and data analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage new products for our technology platform.
• Design new functionalities and support users of the platform.
• Lead client presentations to support business development.
• Work with the Engineering team to create data-driven products.
• Perform quantitative analysis for investment research.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in project management, financial software implementation, or data analysis in private markets.
• 2 years of experience with MySQL for data management.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial calculations and metrics.
• Experience with MS Power Pivot and PowerBi for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to manage projects and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience in optimizing business processes and workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills using MySQL and Excel.
