Vice President, Project Management – Real Estate Japan

Ares Management is looking for a Vice President of Project Management in Real Estate Japan. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of logistics facilities across Japan. The ideal candidate will lead various projects, enhance asset performance, and drive sustainability initiatives while collaborating with multiple teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning and execution of capital improvement projects across logistics facilities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance asset performance and customer experience.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality and cost control.
• Support leasing activities with technical consultations.
• Conduct technical due diligence for acquisitions.
• Develop strategies for sustainability and disaster preparedness.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing building construction, engineering, or facility improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of building systems and asset lifecycle management.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and external service providers.
• Proven project leadership from planning to execution.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Business-level Japanese; English proficiency is a plus.
