Vice President, Business Development

Ares Management is looking for a Vice President, Regional Director to join their Central regional sales team. This role involves building relationships with clients and promoting Ares’ investment solutions. You’ll work closely with a team to develop strategies and marketing plans while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with clients in your territory.
• Develop business plans and identify new opportunities.
• Work with the marketing team to create effective marketing strategies.
• Conduct client seminars and events to promote Ares’ offerings.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all guidelines and regulations.

What You Need

• 5+ years of sales experience in alternatives, mutual funds, or SMA within the wealth channel.
• Must have FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• Proven success in a financial sales environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
