GIC is looking for a VP/SVP to join their Fixed Income & Multi Asset team, focusing on portfolio risk for corporate credit. This role involves working closely with portfolio managers to provide risk oversight and conducting in-depth analyses of credit exposures. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in credit portfolio management and a passion for risk management. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a leading global investor and contribute to impactful investment strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with portfolio managers to provide risk oversight.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses on large exposures and stressed credit planning.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and stress-test portfolios.
  • Develop independent assessments for investments and present recommendations.
  • Help enhance in-business risk management capabilities.
  • Support the risk team in portfolio construction and capital allocation.

What You Need

  • At least 10 years of experience in credit portfolio management or market risk.
  • Experience in credit research or underwriting is a plus.
  • Strong passion for portfolio analysis and risk management.
  • Ability to work with investment teams and present to committees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player who is motivated to support the team.
