VP, Portfolio Management Operations

Griffin Capital is looking for a VP/SVP of Portfolio Management to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This role involves developing investment strategies, monitoring performance, and managing risks across various investment vehicles. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in portfolio management, particularly in multifamily assets, and will play a key role in investor reporting and asset financing.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze portfolio diversification and recommend strategies.
• Lead the investor reporting process and prepare various management reports.
• Oversee cash flow modeling and asset valuations.
• Support the sales team with data and metrics for capital raising.
• Negotiate loan documents and ensure compliance with covenants.

What You Need

• 8-10+ years of experience in portfolio management, especially with multifamily assets.
• Experience managing capital markets transactions.
• For SVP consideration, 12-15+ years of experience with a strong track record in portfolio strategy leadership.
• Education in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
