Aliment Capital Interview Process & Questions
Firms can always make some modifications in their interview process. However, if you interview at Aliment Capital or similar firms, you’ll find the general nature of the process to remain consistent:
- There will be 4-6 rounds of interviews.
- The HR team or junior investment professionals will handle the initial rounds while the more senior staff supervise the later rounds.
- It could take several weeks before the firm selects the right candidate (unless it’s “on-cycle” or “on-campus” recruitment activity).
The interviews at Aliment Capital will have you answer a combination of fit questions, technical / investing questions, and behavioral questions.

Why Aliment Capital
One of the frequently asked and crucial questions during interviews is “Why this firm?”
If you’ve made connections during your networking efforts, this is the best time to mention whoever you’ve met and how they’ve influenced your decision to apply.
Another thing you could do to come up with a relevant answer to this question is to research the firm. For this, I recommend listening to interviews of their founders, investors, or leadership team.
Here’s a great discussion with Gil Demeter, the vice president at Pontifax AgTech:
Aliment Capital Case Study
Firms typically prefer candidates who have sufficient technical knowledge and good communication skills. They use case studies to assess these attributes so anticipate case studies in your interviews and make preparations beforehand.
Most case studies at firms like Aliment Capital focus on investment recommendations and financial modeling. But for junior roles, interviewers also conduct cold calling case study exercises as well.
Check out my Growth Equity Interview Guide for case study resources and examples.
