    BECO Capital Overview

BECO Capital is one of the first early-stage venture capital firms founded in the United Arab Emirates with a focus on Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Today, BECO Capital has become one of the leading non-governmental VC firms with around $450 million in AUM. They also had the opportunity to partner early with the regions’ largest success stories which made their funds rank in the top 10% around the world in terms of performance.

The firm has a founder-first approach when it comes to investing and primarily supports early stage tech companies, from Seed stage to Series B.

Most of the portfolio companies are under the consumer, enterprise, fintech, healthcare, and Web3 sectors.

Dany Farha and Amir Farha founded BECO Capital in 2012. The firm is currently based in Dubai.

    BECO Capital Case Study

Communication skills and technical knowledge are two traits that investment firms highly value. To evaluate these, firms like BECO Capital ask candidates to perform case studies.

Most case studies will have you do financial modeling and investment recommendations. But for junior roles, a cold calling case study may also be part of the process.

Check out my Growth Equity Interview Guide if you need more help regarding case studies.
