Position Overview
Apollo is seeking a driven individual to join the Institutional Client Group (ICG) team in Abu Dhabi with a focus across the Middle East region.
Primary Responsibilities
The role encompasses a broad spectrum of marketing and investor relations responsibilities, including:
- Working with sales and product teams to provide support on team deliverables, including presentations, data management and bespoke projects for Head of Institutional Client Group, Middle East.
- Responsible for completing and/or reviewing internal and external meeting memorandums and presentations.
- Coordinating group investor meetings including roadshows & product diligence sessions.
- Assisting the Client Solutions team in end-to-end sales process including prospective investor research and meeting preparation.
- Utilising CRM data to support Apollo’s full product suite.
- Working closely with the firm’s investment professionals to coordinate thought leadership distributions.
- Researching various databases and maintaining internal CRM systems with up-to-date investor information.
- Working as part of the fundraising team for all products (Private Equity, Real Assets, Credit, etc.)
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of prior experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm, fixed income investment firm, investment bank, consulting firm, or other high caliber institution.
- Previous experience in a sales, marketing or other client facing role.
- Strong work ethic, acute attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a willingness and desire to learn and work well within a team are critical.
- Self-starter and comfortable working independently.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate complexity with simplicity.
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities.
