As a Vice President, US Venture Capital – Technology & Services, you will:

• Be an integral member of the investment team
• Investment theme research and development, investment sourcing and execution, portfolio management responsibilities and marketing & network development
• Be able to develop independent sourcing relationships and source investment opportunities
• Be able to thoroughly evaluate the merits and risks of potential investment opportunities
• Have strong communication skills
• Have excellent quantitative analytical capabilities
• Upon demonstrated success and increased responsibility within Baird Capital, this individual is expected to progress to positions of increasing responsibility

What We Look For

Education/Experience

• Undergraduate university degree from a leading institution
• MBA degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred but not required
• Four to seven years of relevant work experience, including but not limited to investment banking, public accounting, private equity and venture capital
• Investment or operating experience with early-stage companies, or companies in the technology and services sectors

• Strong analytical skills, understanding of financial statements, financial modeling and data analysis
