Scope:

The Data Analyst Intern role is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative thinker with an interest in data analytics to help the business pursue its strategic and financial objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The individual will be part of the Data Analytics & Development team and will shadow the other team members in day-to-day Firm operations while also executing on key projects and initiatives. The Intern will have responsibilities ranging from data management to helping develop thoughtful solutions to stakeholder issues. Specific projects are still to be determined for Summer 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with key day-to-day Firm operations
  • Develop an understanding of overall business strategy and operations
  • Learn technology platforms at the Firm
  • Use tools like Excel or SQL to clean, organize, and analyze data
  • Leverage data governance tool to improve data cataloging across the Firm datasets
  • Help develop dashboards/reporting and workflows using Microsoft suite (e.g. PowerBI, Excel, SSRS, etc.) or DealCloud (CRM)
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders
  • Write, format, and edit technical documentation in Confluence

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate in summer after freshman or sophomore year
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced and high-performing professional environment
  • Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively

Desired Qualifications:

    • In pursuit of STEM degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar
    • Experience using Excel or SQL
    • Strong quantitative skills
    • Knowledge of programming in Python, C#, or PowerShell
