This is an Investor Relations Associate role where you will help drive our mission to support early-stage tech entrepreneurs across the MENA region and beyond. As an Investor Relations Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with our current and potential investors, providing them with key insights into our portfolio companies and the broader venture capital landscape. You will work closely with our senior team members to support fundraising and business development efforts, and help shape the future of our ecosystem in the region. Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and clear communication with our prospective and existing investors regarding fund performance and potential investment opportunities.
- Project manage fundraising efforts for BECO Capital and BECO’s portfolio companies, including producing investor-facing materials, preparing investor updates, managing our data room, and owning the investor onboarding experience.
- Provide investors with key insights into our portfolio companies, important updates at BECO, and the broader venture capital landscape, through webinars, regular email communications, and our Annual General Meeting
- Support our senior team members in their business development efforts by preparing materials and conducting research on macro trends, sector trends, and potential investors
- Continuously improve our processes and systems to ensure our investor relations function and LP experience is world-class.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Business, Economics).
- 2-4 years of experience in investor relations or in a sales operations role at a fast-paced scale-up
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with advanced google sheet or excel skills
- First adopter of tech and proven ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong commercial acumen, able to clearly and concisely communicate business performance updates to investors verbally and in written/presentation form
- Outstanding internal and external stakeholder skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent project and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, as well as timeliness, in all communications and outputs.

- Continuously improve processes and systems related to investor relations, striving for excellence in all aspects of the role.
- Enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of communication and output.
- Contribute to building a strong and reputable investor relations function within BECO Capital and support senior team members in their business development efforts.
