Tactical Opportunities (Tac?Opps) is Blackstone’s opportunistic investment platform.?The?Tac?Opps?team invests globally across asset classes, industries and geographies, seeking to identify and execute on attractive, differentiated investment opportunities.?As part of the strategy, the team leverages the intellectual capital across Blackstone’s various businesses while continuously optimizing its approach in the face of ever-changing market conditions.

2024 – 2025 Off-Cycle Intern, London

Job Description:

Interns will work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for a highly ambitious and extraordinary candidate who has already developed strong financial, analytical, commercial and research skills through personal investing, academic work, and professional experience.

Interns will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and be staffed on a number of assignments at one time. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Interns assume integral roles on deal teams.

Responsibilities:

Interns will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the investment process from initiation to close. Responsibilities will include:

  • Industry and thematic research and competitive analysis
  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
  • Execution of transactions (including meeting and interacting with management teams as part of the due diligence process)
  • Provide overall support to the investment team

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting and finance are strongly recommended.

Internship Requirements:

  • To be considered for the 2024 Off-Cycle Intern position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student or having just graduated
  • CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade and should be in PDF format
  • Must be able to start between September/October 2024 and be available for up to six months
