Program Description:

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program is 10-weeks in length and will provide participants broad exposure to the Firm. The Program offers Summer Analyst’s various technical training and professional development opportunities, the ability to network with professionals across all business units, and a robust mentorship experience to allow the participants to be fully immersed in the Blackstone culture.

Job Description:       

This role is for a Summer Analyst to work in Asia Core+ groups based in Hong Kong. The Core+ team is responsible the management of Blackstone Real Estate’s BPP Asia, an open-ended real estate fund focused on high-quality logistics, office, retail and residential assets and portfolios in major markets and gateways cities across the Asia Pacific region.

As part of the ongoing growth of the business, Blackstone is seeking to recruit a Summer Analyst to join their Asia Core+ team in Hong Kong. The Summer Analyst will be joining a small team dedicated to the ongoing management of the funds including the general fund management, execution of transactions, investor marketing, portfolio management and operations matters. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, the Summer Analyst is expected to assume an integral role on the team.

Responsibilities:

The BPP Asia Core+ Summer Analyst will work with the team to help manage all aspects of the Fund including development & execution of key strategies and day-to-day management of the business. The main responsibilities include:

  • Produce analysis and execute on key strategic initiatives for BPP Asia.:
    • Investments (real estate allocations, hold vs. sell analysis on dispositions, new acquisitions, co-investment structuring)
    • Balance Sheet (leverage, liquidity, cost of capital, interest rate exposure, hedging strategy)
    • Capital Raising (new product development, marketing for existing and potential investors)
    • Corporate Strategy (performance, deployment, asset allocation)
  • Participate in and create materials for key special projects & internal meetings.
  • Collaborate with various functions including Acquisitions, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Institutional Client Solutions, Portfolio Management, Legal, Tax and Finance
  • Develop expertise in all property types and geographies in which BPP Asia invests.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate or master’s degree student. If you are pursuing a master’s degree, you should have no more than 1 year of fulltime working experience·
  • Anticipated graduation date: Sept 2025 – Jun 2026
  • Business proficient in and Asian languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is preferred but not required
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.
