As a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Investment Associate at BluePointe Capital, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success of the investment program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, demonstrate deep knowledge of investment strategies, be capable of executing portfolio rebalancing and will have worked with portfolio management software like Addepar.

Responsibilities:

1) Research and Analytics:

  • Assist the Director of Investment Strategy in collection and oversight of investment data.
  • Support research on various asset classes, investment opportunities, and financial products.
  • Contribute to Investment Committee discussions on asset allocation models and strategy.

2) Associate Relationship Manager:

  • Assist the CEO in managing his client book; understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Implement and monitor asset allocation strategy, making adjustments as necessary to optimize portfolio performance in line with allocation targets and other client goals.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of market events on portfolios, working with the Director of Investment Strategy to make proactive adjustments to ensure risk levels are within defined parameters.
  • Communicate investment strategies and portfolio performance clearly and effectively to clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience within a Registered Investment Advisory firm or similar financial/brokerage background with portfolio responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies (traditional and alternative asset classes), and portfolio management techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed, data-driven investment recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
