As a Senior Investment Associate at BluePointe Capital, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success of our investment program. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in finance
  • Deep knowledge of investment strategies
  • The ability to execute portfolio rebalancing
  • Experience with portfolio management software (Addepar or similar)

Responsibilities:

1. Research and Analytics:

  • Assist the Director of Investment Strategy in the collection and oversight of investment data.
  • Support research on various asset classes, investment opportunities and financial products.
  • Contribute to investment committee discussions on asset allocation models and strategy.

2. Associate Relationship Manager:

  • Assist the CEO in managing their client book; understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance and investment preferences.
  • Implement and monitor asset allocation strategy, making adjustments as necessary to optimize portfolio performance in line with allocation targets and other client goals.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of market events on portfolios, working with the Director of Investment Strategy to make proactive adjustments to ensure risk levels are within defined parameters.
  • Communicate investment strategies and portfolio performance clearly and effectively to clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Series 65 or Series 7 license.
  • At least three years of experience at a registered investment advisory firm or similar financial/brokerage background with portfolio responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies (traditional and alternative asset classes) and portfolio management techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed, data-driven investment recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

BluePointe offers a hybrid work environment. The preferred location for this position is California but other geographies will be considered.
