Founded in 2003, Bratenahl Capital Partners (BCP) is a single-family office based in Cleveland, Ohio focused on investing in and alongside private equity partners. BCP’s objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through the creation of a diversified private equity investment portfolio.

Job Summary

The Private Equity Associate will be an integral part of the BCP investment team with a primary focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis as it relates to new potential investments and the existing BCP portfolio.

Roles & Responsibilities

Support the investment team in evaluating new private equity funds and co-investments. This will include the following tasks:

• complete extensive financial modeling and quantitative analysis
• perform industry research and benchmarking analysis
• assist in the preparation and presentation of internal Investment Committee materials.

Assist the investment team in monitoring the existing private equity portfolio, which will include the following tasks:

• Provide analytical support for existing funds and co-investments
• Review and analyze quarterly fund and co-investment performance and report to the team any significant variances or issues
• Attend fund annual meetings and participate in investment update calls and meetings.

Become an active participant in BCP sourcing activities and networking

Contribute as necessary to special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, accounting, or finance
• Proficiency in financial modeling skills and experience using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• A history of achievement in past professional and academic experiences
• A demonstration of excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• An individual with a strong work ethic, highly organized and a team player

• This position requires you to work on-site full-time in Cleveland, Ohio
