Flashpoint is an international tech investment manager with c. $400 million AUM focused global technology companies built by founders originating from emerging Europe and Israel. Flashpoint manages five funds across 3 products: Venture Capital, Growth Debt, and Direct Secondary. The firm is headquartered in London and has offices in New York, Tel-Aviv, Budapest, Warsaw, Riga and Nicosia.

The funds have made investments in 66 companies including names such as Guesty, Chili Piper, Booksy and Preply. Flashpoint has completed 17 exits, including the sale of its stakes in Shazam (to Apple), Chess dot com (to General Atlantic), Marketman (to Providence’s PSG), etc.

We are seeking a passionate Intern to join our Flashpoint Secondary Fund (FSF).

FSF invests in growth-stage (Series B+) tech companies. We invest in direct secondaries, buying shares from existing shareholders—founders, (ex)employees, and early investors.

As an Intern you will contribute to the investment process, in particular supporting sourcing and analysis of potentially interesting investment opportunities.

To provide you with a glimpse, you will:

• Perform market-related analysis
• Support the deal sourcing – look for and research interesting startups, potential secondary sellers
• Support commercial and financial analysis of potential investments
• Assist in due diligence on potential investments
• Assist in preparing investment memos
• Continuously stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the tech ecosystem

The intended location of the role is in Warsaw office.

The ideal candidate should be a student (or recent graduate) of a top university, passionate about the startup ecosystem, proactive, enthusiastic, curious and eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced world of startups.

As an integral part of our investment team, you will work from our Warsaw office together with other people located in our other offices (around Europe and Israel) in a small team that values creativity, flat hierarchies and open communication.
