As our Venture Capital Liaison & Operations Manager in the heart of New York, you will be the cornerstone of Funden’s operations and growth. You will operate from the nexus of venture capital and startup innovation, directly engaging with both the founders and the VC community. Your mission is to enhance Funden’s operational efficiency, spearhead business development, and nurture sales initiatives. This is not just a managerial role; it’s a chance to be at the forefront of startup success stories, directly reporting to our board of directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement Funden’s strategic vision to streamline and accelerate the fundraising process for startups;
  • Ensure top-notch efficiency in day-to-day operations, especially in our unique Assisted Fundraising services;
  • Act as the primary liaison between Funden and the VC world, enhancing our visibility and impact within this community;
  • Drive business development through innovative partnerships, collaborations, and fostering robust stakeholder relationships;
  • Elevate Funden’s market presence and client acquisition through strategic sales and marketing collaborations;
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation to enhance our tools, services, and operational effectiveness; and
  • Broaden our product and service spectrum to cater to a diverse clientele, maximizing the lifetime value of each relationship.

Requirements:

  • Proven self-starter who does not need micromanagement;
  • Strong understanding of fundraising, with a track record of building and scaling businesses;
  • Experience overseeing operations, including strategy analysis and client support;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in sales and operations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Experience working within a small business.

Experience and Education:

  • Master of Business Administration, Juris Doctor, or similar graduate degree;
  • Minimum of 10 years working in a leadership position; and
  • Experience working with business owners, CEO’s and Founders.
