About Giant

Giant Ventures is a mission-driven global venture capital firm based in London. We invest in purpose-driven founders solving the world’s biggest challenge. We champion early-stage entrepreneurs creating a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient plane. We lead pre-seed and seed rounds and invest between $10-20M at Series B and beyond across three themes: climate, health, and inclusive capitalism.

Giant was created by founders, for founders. Started by two entrepreneurs, Giant has a unique team of founders, CEOs, and global leaders. We are on track to invest $1B into purpose-driven technology this decade.

The team at Giant shares an insatiable curiosity, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit. We are an international, tight-knit, and highly motivated team looking for a self-directed individual who thrives in the pursuit of excellence. Together, we care about finding, funding, and supporting the companies that will have a huge impact on global challenges over the next decade. For more about our team and portfolio, see giant.vc.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional investor to join our team. You will source companies and lead diligence/market research for our climate-focused Series B fund. This is an exciting opportunity to be a core part of Giant at a phase of rapid growth for the firm, with plenty of space to grow and contribute to the strategy.

You will be expected to analyse companies across software, hardware, and deep tech and contribute to quantitative and qualitative company analysis, including financial modelling, market sizing, and competitive analysis. You will also drive thematic deep dives in select areas and help us source and win deals.

Like everyone at Giant, you will be expected to join us on the entrepreneurial journey of building Giant as a category-defining firm, and roll up your sleeves to help us win.

You will have the opportunity to attend all investment committees.

What we’re looking for

  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and rigour. You love to dig deep into numbers to find the analytical source of truth, and you can balance an inner drive to understand something deeply with speed.
  • Work with a sense of urgency. You use time and resources effectively, learn from setbacks, and enjoy a challenging path.
  • Bold but humble. You present ideas with conviction but hold them loosely, the best ideas win at Giant.
  • Creative entrepreneurship. You are a self-starter who relishes driving your projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Love to win, but as a team. You push hard to win but are a great team player, encouraging diversity of thought.
  • Hungry to learn. Pushing your growth curve to excel as an investor.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability or age.
