2024 LLR Case Competition

For rising private equity stars from the Class of 2026:

LLR Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm with more than $5 billion of committed capital across six funds, is hosting a virtual Private Equity Case Competition for college sophomores. Teams of four students will compete in two rounds:

• Round 1: Identify a prospective take-private company and submit a 1–2-page executive summary on the investment thesis
  • Case prompt provided to selected applicants January 5, 2024 with submissions due January 14, 2024
• Round 2: Construct an investment thesis and build a financial model for an LLR portfolio company, then present to LLR leadership and company management live via Zoom
  • Students that progress to round 2 will receive round 2 materials on January 22, 2024 with final presentations scheduled for the evening of February 7, 2024

Why Participate?

• Exposure to LLR’s investment process through a real-life example of an LLR deal
• Direct interaction with LLR senior investment team and portfolio company leadership
• Final round teams will gain early access to the interview process for LLR’s Summer 2025 Internship Program
  $4,000 cash prize for the winning team

Eligibility:

• Apply as a team of 4 and will be notified if they are selected to participate in the case competition on January 5, 2024
• Must currently be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate institution with a graduation date of Dec 2025/May 2026
• Available the evening of Wednesday, February 7, 2024 if selected to participate in the final round of the case competition
