Private Equity Investment Associate

Job description

· Our client is a young investment firm with over $1B AUM. They seek to hire an Investment Associate focused on private equity, growth equity and venture capital investments.

Responsibilities

· Participate directly in investment process through direct exposure to senior leadership

· Evaluating potential transactions through detailed research and analysis

· Conduct due diligence on target companies, assessing financials, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

· Preparing Investment Committee materials

· Performing industry sector deep dives in conjunction with industry specialist teams

· Lead & support robust corporate models and stress testing

· Work with cross functional teams (investment teams, capital markets, finance, risk) to support day-to-day fund/portfolio level decisions

Qualifications

· 2-5 years of total work experience within private equity or venture capital

· Experience using Bloomberg beneficial

· Strong quantitative skills, modeling with proficiency with Excel

· Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution

· Demonstrated professional and academic achievement

· Energetic, self-motivated, self-starter who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
