The Investor Relations Associate provides relationship support by serving as a point of contact with our current investors. The IR Associate is responsible for updating and maintaining all investor relations platforms and materials, ensuring complete accuracy and up to date information. This person is also responsible for supporting our Investor Relations and Fundraising Team in their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the investors relations and fundraising team’s point of engagement with investors which includes scheduling, logistics and execution of investor calls, meetings, conferences, and road shows
  • Draft responses to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Oversee the management of the Investor Relations CRM
  • Oversee the maintenance of separate fund / strategy data rooms (access and content)
  • Support the planning and execution of the NewSpring Annual Meeting
  • Assist with collection / handling of investor documents (PPMs, subscription documents, etc.)
  • Support the planning of the annual mid-year investor update session
  • Assist in content creation and presentation material for investor questions
  • Track potential investors, subscription materials, and contributions
  • Support fundraising activities, including the preparation of marketing materials
  • Provide support to existing Limited Partner relationships
  • Attend conferences and relevant meetings as needed
  • Facilitates the Investor Relations Consultant process:
  • Provide support as a key relationship manager to the consultant teams
  • Serve as dedicated operational resource and contact for ESG
  • Liaise with marketing team and help with methodical material maintenance and updates
  • Assist in the creation of PPM and other offering documents
  • Placement Agent – provide ongoing support during active engagements
  • Assist with product, or LP footprint expansion Internationally
  • Strategically works with the Marketing and Business Development teams
  • Provides support and oversight to any additional projects and needs that may arise from the various strategies

Qualifications:

  • Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills necessary to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences
  • A proven track record of building and harvesting relationships with internal and external audiences
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in investor relations , fundraising or similar role
  • Fluent in working and managing databases and CRM platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • A team player with a great attitude
  • Ability to manage one’s own schedule effectively and responsiveness to requests and ability to pivot based on the needs and priorities of both internal and external relationships
  • Always looking to improve process and procedures to better serve the NewSpring ecosystem
  • Extremely detail oriented with the ability to produce error-free work
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
