JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our future associate at PLUS Capital will be part of our tight-knit investment team based out of our office in Venice,
primarily focused on financial due diligence and market analysis for prospective investments and equity-based
partnerships. You’ll work closely with the three partners and principal to evaluate new opportunities and sectors of
interest, as well as monitor progress of existing portfolio companies.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management
    consulting)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure work environment
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expertise with financial concepts and strong financial modeling skills
  • Able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate
  • Proactive and high-energy with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Growth oriented and willing to collaborate; team player mentality operating within a small and
    entrepreneurial team
  • Strong grasp of business fundamentals, able to identify key questions about a potential investment and gain
    understanding of products, competitive dynamics, differentiation, market opportunities and more

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Conduct business sector research, collect and synthesize data
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct due diligence including, market/customer research,
    business analysis, financials/modeling, memos, etc.
  • Perform various financial analysis such as: unit economics, financial modeling, returns analysis, comparable
    company analysis
  • Track key industry trends, such as financing and acquisition activity, product, and competitive activity
  • Ongoing portfolio analysis, general support of the firm’s investment activities, including monitoring and
    partnering on initiatives with portfolio companies
