Do you want to in the future of commerce and energy?

Prologis Ventures is seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Summer Associate to join our investment team with a focus on mobility infrastructure and energy systems. You will interact with industry experts, executives from our own asset platforms, startups, and strategic partners. You will work with our investment team to build investment theses around areas within the value chains of our customers, and Prologis. During the 10 – 12-week program, you’ll contribute to projects that impact the business on a global scale.

What’s Needed To Do That

• Value Chain Mapping: Partnering with Prologis’ mobility infrastructure and energy teams to map workflows across Prologis product lines and adjacent value chains.
• Value Chain Prioritization & Market Sizing: Evaluate and prioritize each step in the value chain based on its impact on business and market size.
• Market Mapping & Due Diligence: Identifying and completing due diligence on startups and innovative solutions across the aforementioned value chains.

• Preference for current MBA or two-year master’s students with an expected graduation of Spring 2025 with an undergraduate background in engineering or STEM.
• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in one of the following: venture capital, investment banking, technical product management, or management consulting – with a focus on mobility infrastructure, energy, or infrastructure development.
• Motivated, high energy, organized, detail-oriented, nimble and excited about sustainability, building design and construction, entrepreneurship and the startup/innovation ecosystem.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team player, including the ability to quickly establish rapport with all stakeholders, including members of our team management teams and senior executives.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with an ability to distill complex information into a simplified message.
• Self-starter who can prioritize and manage concurrent priorities and projects in an ambiguous environment.
• Creative mindset and willingness to take on new challenges.

Undergraduate Hiring Hourly Pay: $25-30/Hour

Graduate Hiring Hourly Pay: $35-40/Hour

Hourly pay to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, and skills, as well as internal pay equity and alignment with market data.
