Quona is already one of the most active fintech investors in Southeast Asia and sees the region as having tremendous further growth potential. It is setting up a Singapore office with one of the firm’s founding partners moving to Singapore to give the region a strong focus. In this context, Quona is looking for a top investment professional who shares the purpose and conviction with Quona to join the team and lead Southeast Asia investments.

The ideal candidate will come in as Principal or Principal-plus level, with experience in fintech or the broader digital industry already, who can further grow to their fullest potential with Quona.

Quona is specifically looking for:

– Deep Southeast Asia experience and an existing network, though the right candidate may be of any nationality/ethnicity

– An “A Player” with strong intellect, sharp business judgment, entrepreneurial instincts, and credibility in the ecosystem

– A strong fit with Quona’s culture, e.g., the firm’s Global/Local mindset and hunger to learn, etc.

– Ability to empathize with entrepreneurs and roll up their sleeves to work closely with Quona’s portfolio; this necessitates curiosity and entrepreneurial orientation (rather than fund manager orientation).

Required Professional Experience

  • Proven experience as a VC or growth-stage investor and/or operator, with a strong track record
  • Experience in the digital industry
  • Deep knowledge of Southeast Asia markets

Nice to have: experience in the fintech industry, and an existing expansive network in the ecosystem (entrepreneurs, intermediaries, industry experts, and other early or growth-stage investors).
