The Opportunity: Summer Fellow

We are seeking a talented individual to join Snowpoint Ventures’ growing team for the summer to support our ever-expanding portfolio as well as all aspects of day-to-day firm operations.

The Investment Team delivers on Snowpoint Ventures desire to be the partner of choice for dual-tech companies and to be on the forefront of driving a technical revolution across both defense and commercial markets by:

  • Expanding and partnering with Snowpoint Ventures ecosystem of family office clients, portfolio companies, LPs, and broader network to drive growth and strategic advantages for our portfolio companies and broader firm ecosystem
  • Building a dynamic pipeline of potential investments that continually supports our thesis of partnering with companies that want to protect our national security and deliver value to everyday consumers
  • Driving value to Snowpoint Ventures portfolio partners, through the creation of relevant business-oriented, strategic, and knowledge-sharing opportunities/connectivity as well as thought-partnership on market expansion, industry trends and perspectives of leading decision-makers

Principal Responsibilities:

  •  Focus on deal sourcing, due diligence and other components of the deal flow life cycle to continue to build a robust portfolio
  • Prepare market analyses and presentations to drive firm investment decisions
  • Assist with preparing materials to support fundraising calls, internal tracking, firm growth and LP reporting
  • Support the firm by using financial modeling and reporting
  • Complete research projects for specific industry or area of focus
  • Uphold and foster a culture of client privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

Professional Experience

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work well in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – emphasis on ability to integrate and work well in a small team
  • Strong grasp of critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Currently pursuing an MBA or advanced degree
  • 3-7 years of work experience

 Location: Palm Beach, Florida or San Francisco / Bay Area
