Description of Position

TPG is looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate or Senior Associate that can bring deep, full-lifecycle recruiting expertise to the Global HR team. This position is responsible for owning and driving recruiting efforts across the firm for a wide variety of roles, requiring the ability to partner with leaders across the organization to understand business priorities and quickly provide direction for their critical hiring needs. You will create sourcing strategies (both direct sourcing and managing search firms), develop effective interview plans, manage candidate pipelines and relationships, and champion our diversity hiring strategy. You will work closely with a TA team of 7 and with the broader TPG HR team as you gain exposure to initiatives across the talent lifecycle.

This position may also be located in TPG’s Fort Worth or San Francisco offices.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of full lifecycle search processes, from initial kick-off calls through sourcing, interviewing and offers
  • Research the talent market and source excellent pipelines of talent via direct outreach, job postings, referrals, and other methods
  • Vet and select search firms, manage contracts, and build ongoing relationships with key search partners
  • Manage candidate communication and meetings, in partnership with TA Coordinators
  • Interview candidates and share the TPG career growth potential, benefits, and advantages of employment, selling both the firm and the opportunity
  • Provide meaningful data and guidance in support of client needs and firmwide goals
  • Assist in organizing and attending brand-building events such as those with our diversity organization partners
  • Support broader TA transformation projects, such as data and technology, operational improvements and diversity initiatives – we are continuously improving!
  • Participate in broader Human Resources team initiatives and projects as needed, across diversity, learning & engagement, performance, development, and other sub-functional areas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting in a fast-paced corporate environment or search firm
  • Experience in asset management is strongly preferred, though not required
  • Experience directly sourcing talent and managing search firm relationships
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting best practices across search process management, interviewing, job design, candidate experience, etc.
  • Able to come up to speed quickly on new profiles of talent, seek out information and build credibility in new areas
  • Strong client service orientation, able to anticipate needs and serve as a talent advisor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change and to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high attention to detail

It is expected that the annual base salary for this role will be up to $115,000. Base salary is one component of TPG’s competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
