About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven individual with a strong passion for early-stage venture investing to join our Investment Team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities within a team and autonomously. Additionally, a deep understanding of the Southeast Asian and Indian venture markets is crucial to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Source and identify new investment opportunities within early-stage ventures in our target markets.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, evaluating market fit, competitive landscapes, financial analyses, and management team capabilities.
  • Prepare investment memos for the Investment Committee and draft monthly updates for partners and investors.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, global investors, funds, and venture capitalists in the ecosystem.
  • Contribute to portfolio management activities, including monitoring and supporting existing investments to enhance value.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging opportunities to inform investment decisions and strategies.
  • Bring a creative mind for helping the Team grow and evolve.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of full-time experience, preferably within venture capital, private equity firms, other relevant financial institutions, or successful growth startups.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong communication abilities, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Multijurisdictional experience, with a focus on India, is highly valued.
  • Must have a passion for venture capital and early stage investing.
