Founded in 2014, Point72 is a global asset management firm founded by Steven Cohen as the successor to SAC Capital.
The firm invests in various asset classes and employs different investment strategies including:

- Venture Capital and Growth Equity
Point72 Ventures, Point72 Hyperscale, and Cubist Systematic Strategies are the investment arms of Point72.
Point72 is based in Stamford, Connecticut – with additional offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, and West Palm Beach.

Point72 Interview Process & Questions
Despite the changes in the interview changes for each candidate, the general nature of the process stays the same for the most part. In fact, you can anticipate the following:
- Interview rounds: 4-6
- Initial interviews are supervised by junior professionals, while later rounds are handled by more senior folks
- Unless it’s on-campus or on-cycle recruiting, expect that the entire process will last for multiple weeks

Why Point72
One of the questions you must prepare for is the “Why this firm” question.
If you’ve met employees at the firm during your networking efforts, make sure to mention them and how their experiences and testimonies helped in choosing their firm.
Also, do your homework and research the firm. You can try listening to interviews with its founders, management team, and investors to get to know them better.

Champ Titles is one of the leading providers of digital vehicle registration services and titles in the United States.
Their solution contributes to the environment-friendly, frictionless, secure, digital, and paperless future in titling.
In March 2024, Champ Titles secured $18 million from a Series C funding round.
Point72 Ventures, one of the investment arms of Point72, led the round – with participation from Rev1 Ventures, Guidewire Software, Eos Venture Partners, W.R. Berkley Corporation, and more.
Champ Titles uses the investment to continue their growth.
