Siris Capital Group is one of the leading private equity firms investing primarily in telecommunications, technology, data, and tech-enabled business service companies.
The common traits of companies they support include mission-critical and differentiated services and/or products with consistent market position and have potential for cash flow generation. In most cases, these companies face industry disruptions and new competitive threats.
The firm also aims for investments with transaction values ranging from $500 million to $2 billion.
One of the integral parts of Siris’ investment approach is its partnership with senior operating executives who work with Siris to find, validate, and capture investment opportunities.
Siris Capital Group was founded by Jeffrey Hendren, Peter Berger, and Frank Baker in 2011. Currently, the firm is based in New York, NY, USA.

Despite the changes in the interview changes for each candidate, the general nature of the process stays the same for the most part. In fact, you can anticipate the following:

Siris Capital Group Portfolio & Investments
According to Crunchbase, Siris Capital Group has made seven investments across two funds. Some of their notable deals include Travelport, Constant Contact, and Mavenir.
Notable Transaction: Digital River
Digital River is one of the leading providers of commerce-as-a-service solutions around the world. Companies of all sizes depend on Digital River’s solutions to grow and manage their online businesses.
In 2013, Digital River processed over $30 BB in online transactions, connecting B2C and B2B digital products and cloud service companies, as well as buyers across multiple devices and channels with branded manufacturers, in almost every country worldwide.
In February 2015, Siris Capital Group acquired Digital River. This merger agreement, which was first announced in October 2014, is valued at around $840 million.
As part of this transaction, all the outstanding shares of Digital River common stock were converted into the right to receive $26 in case per share.
Digital River’s common stock was also delisted from NASDAQ, and the Company, which continued to operate as Digital River Inc, was wholly owned by an affiliate of Siris.
