Why Trivest Partners
One of the frequently asked and most crucial interview questions is “Why this firm?”
If you’ve done networking, make sure to mention whoever you’ve met and how they’ve made a really good impression on you.
Another thing I’d suggest is doing research about the firm. One of the best ways to learn about a firm is to listen to interviews with its founders, investors, and management team.
For example, here’s a great interview with Jorge Gross, Managing Partner at Trivest Partners:
- Interview with Ryan Parker, Director of Marketing at Trivest Partners
- Interview with Jamie Elias, Partner at Trivest
- Interview with Troy Templeton, Managing Partner at Trivest Partners
- Interview with Tony Hill and Tim Templeton, Trivest Partners
Trivest Partners Case Study
You will most likely face a case study when you interview at Trivest Partners because case studies help firms evaluate your technical knowledge and communication skills.
Most case studies involve investment recommendations and financial modeling. However, prepare to do a cold calling case study as well if you’re applying for a junior role.
If you’re interested, I discussed case studies in great detail inside my Growth Equity Interview Guide.
