Vista Equity Partners is considered to be one of the largest American private equity firms which focuses on financing data, software, and tech-enabled businesses.
In September 2019, the firm was able to raise $16 billion for their flagship fund – the largest tech-focused fund ever raised by an independent PE firm at the time.
Vista Equity Partners was also ranked 16th in Private Equity International’s PEI 300 ranking of the biggest PE firms in the world.
Founded in 2000, the firm sustainably scale its companies by leveraging four strategies:
